About Brittany

Brittany is originally from Louisiana and moved to Texas for college. A self-described creator, she thrives on figuring things out, exploring new places, and turning life into art—whether behind the lens or in everyday moments. Inspired from a young age by her mother’s unwavering compassion, Brittany has always had a heart for people.
“I remember my mom taking in families and feeding anyone who needed a meal. I guess that stuck with me,” she shares.
She discovered Miracles R Real Outreach at a food drive, where she crossed paths with Mrs. Yolanda. “I mentioned I was a photographer and was looking for ways to serve,” Brittany recalls. “Next thing I know, I’m wearing the red shirt.”
A Day with MRRO
“A typical day starts with prayer,” Brittany says. “That’s how we lay the foundation—with love and intention.”
Whether she’s leading a team or capturing moments with her camera, Brittany focuses on making sure everyone—volunteer and visitor alike—feels safe, supported, and seen.
“If I see someone struggling or off balance, I do what I can to help. That’s leadership rooted in love.”
Proud Moments
Brittany lights up when she talks about connecting with the Junior Ambassadors.
“My first job was in leadership and gardening. It taught me so much—about responsibility, teamwork, and resilience. Now, I get to pass those lessons along.”
She takes pride in helping young people blossom into leaders who lead with kindness, not just confidence.
Words to Future Volunteers
“Keep an open mind. You’ll meet people from all walks of life, and you never know how your kindness might change someone’s world.”
“Yes, this work is hard—but our team works even harder to make sure every interaction counts. We want people to know they are seen, heard, and loved—not just by us, but by God.”
Closing Note
“I’m so thankful to those who nominated me. I was surprised—and honestly honored. I’ll continue to live out our mission with integrity and love.”
Love. Empower. Liberate.
