At Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc., respecting the privacy of our clients, donors, members, staff, and volunteers is a core organizational value. All personal and financial information is considered confidential and must not be disclosed or discussed with anyone without proper authorization from the President or Vice President. Great care must be taken to ensure that confidential conversations are not overheard by unauthorized individuals, and all documents containing sensitive information should be appropriately secured to prevent inadvertent disclosure. Employees, volunteers, and board members may, in the course of their service, be exposed to information that is confidential, privileged, or proprietary in nature. It is the policy of Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc. that such information must be kept strictly confidential, both during the time of service and after separation from the organization, whether through resignation, termination, or the conclusion of volunteer involvement. Upon separation, all individuals are required to return any materials—physical or digital—that contain privileged or confidential information. Any unauthorized disclosure of confidential or privileged information will be regarded as a serious violation of this policy. Depending on the nature of the disclosure, such actions may not only warrant disciplinary action or immediate dismissal, but may also be reported to appropriate legal authorities if the disclosure constitutes a criminal offense. Maintaining confidentiality is not optional; it is a binding obligation that reflects the integrity and trust essential to the mission of Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc.

The responsibilities of all volunteer staff are: 1. To be present during set-up and break down for the whole duration of any event or function you volunteer for 2. To participate in any team meetings 3. All volunteers will receive/sign a confidentiality agreement As a volunteer you are expected to: 1. Be trustworthy 2. Be reliable 3. Be punctual 4. Respect confidentiality 5. Respect the rights of people you interact with 6. Have a non-judgmental approach 7. Carry out the specified duty/task assigned 8. Be accountable and accept feedback 9. Be committed to the organization 10. Avoid overextending yourself 11. Acknowledge decisions made by the staff or the organization 12. Address areas of conflict with the appropriate staff member or volunteer coordinator 13. Partake in training 14. Request support when needed 15. Adhere to Safety Guidelines As a volunteer, you have the right to: 1. Receive accurate information about the organization 2. Receive a clear, comprehensive description of duties as a volunteer 3. Be appropriately assigned 4. Receive additional training 5. Do meaningful and satisfying work 6. Be seen as belonging, through inclusion at meetings, social functions, and events, etc. 7. Be seen as a person and be supported in your role 8. Have choices, and feel comfortable about saying "no" 9. Not be exploited 10. Be consulted on matters that directly or indirectly affect you and your duties/tasks 11. Receive feedback 12. Receive recognition for your contribution 13. Have your personal information kept confidential 14. Be trusted with confidential information

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS! This Release and Waiver of Liability (the “Release”) is executed on the date of form submission by the individual listed on this form (“The Volunteer”), in favor of Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc. (“MRRO”), a non-profit organization, and its directors, officers, employees, and agents. The Volunteer desires to work as a volunteer for MRRO and engage in the activities related to being a volunteer for any and all scheduled events. The Volunteer understands that these activities may include, but are not limited to: labeling and organizing items for events, obtaining appropriate signatures of participating recipients of services and/or volunteers, setting up and taking down event-related materials and equipment, interacting with potential recipients both indoors and outdoors, and assisting with documentation of the event including audio, video, and/or photographs. The Volunteer hereby freely, voluntarily, and without duress executes this Release under the following terms: 1. Release and Waiver The Volunteer does hereby release and forever discharge and hold blameless MRRO and its successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, and demands of any kind or nature, whether in law or in equity, that arise or may arise from the Volunteer’s activities with MRRO. THE VOLUNTEER UNDERSTANDS THAT THIS RELEASE DISCHARGES MRRO FROM ANY LIABILITY OR CLAIM THAT THE VOLUNTEER MAY HAVE AGAINST MRRO WITH RESPECT TO ANY BODILY INJURY, PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE THAT MAY RESULT FROM VOLUNTEER’S ACTIVITIES WITH MRRO, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF MRRO OR OTHERWISE. THE VOLUNTEER ALSO UNDERSTANDS THAT MRRO DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR OTHER SUPPORT INCLUDING MEDICAL, HEALTH, OR DISABILITY INSURANCE IN THE EVENT OF INJURY OR ILLNESS. 2. Medical Treatment The Volunteer hereby releases and discharges MRRO from any claim that may arise from any first aid, treatment, or service rendered in connection with the Volunteer’s activities. 3. Assumption of Risk The Volunteer understands that the activities may involve hazardous work including, but not limited to, labeling, organizing, handling materials and equipment, interaction with the public, transportation, and documentation tasks. The Volunteer expressly and specifically assumes all risk of injury, illness, death, or property damage resulting from these activities and releases MRRO from all liability. 4. Insurance The Volunteer understands that MRRO does not carry health, medical, or disability insurance for volunteers, unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Volunteers are encouraged to obtain their own insurance coverage. 5. Photographic Release The Volunteer grants MRRO all rights, titles, and interests in any and all photographic images, video, and/or audio recordings taken during their activities with MRRO. This includes all royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such media. 6. Other Terms This Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Volunteer has executed this Release as of the day and year first above written.

No member of the Board of Directors or Staff of Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc. shall derive any personal profit or gain, either directly or indirectly, as a result of their involvement with the organization. This policy extends to any personal or business affiliations, including those of a member’s family, significant other, employer, or close associates, who may stand to benefit from decisions made within the organization. Each individual is required to disclose any personal interest in matters pending before the organization to the Board Chair and must abstain from participation in any related discussion or decision-making processes. Furthermore, members of the Board of Directors, Staff, or Volunteers must not use or obtain lists of clients or donors for personal or private solicitation purposes at any time during their affiliation with Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc. All newly elected members of the Board of Directors shall be provided with a copy of this policy at the time of their appointment. The policy will also be reviewed annually by the board during a regularly scheduled meeting. The purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity of Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc., and to ensure the integrity of the organization’s decision-making processes. It exists to foster the confidence of our clients, donors, and partners in the sincerity, transparency, and ethical behavior of our officers, staff, board members, and volunteers. While the policy provides clear guidelines, it is not a substitute for good judgment; all members are expected to honor both the letter and the spirit of this policy.

I hereby grant Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc., and its representatives and employees, the right to take photographs of me and my property in connection with the above-identified subject. I authorize Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc., its assigns and Transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Miracles R Real Outreach, Inc. may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration,advertising, and Web content.
